![]() Unfortunately at time of review I was unable to take part in an online match, I did search but to no avail, hopefully players will get on board soon and enjoy the game fully. Skirmish is my favorite mode, brings so much more to the gameplay by letting you take battle on different maps and modes in a kind of practice mode, allowing you to home your skills and also domination mode (or dominance as it’s called in game) is a whole lot of fun. The structure of the game is the same as most RTS games with the inclusion of a deep story going along with the strategic gameplay, you have different options to choose from on the menu you firstly have campaigns which is basically your story mode, then missions where you’ll find skirmish and challenges then lastly you have multiplayer which is self explanatory. You play as Anna from the Polonia army as she rallies the local village farmers they take the fight to the Rusviet army and take down the threat of Tsar Nikolaj. The single player campaign is a story driven game of strategy at its best, I’ve played a few RTS games and this is probably the most story driven title I’ve played. Normally when you see stories of big mechs in warfields it’s either in Star Wars or films like Pacific Rim (both big favourites of mine by the way) but Iron Harvest tells of Mech warfare in a way that is believable in that it could have happened that way, a brilliant piece of story telling. Iron Harvest is a title that has caught my eye for sometime and when I had the opportunity to take a look on PS5 I literally jumped at the chance.Īs you read above the story of Iron Harvest is told in an alternative reality kind of a What If story and to be fair it’s kind of good to have a long told story told in a completely different way. Now I do love a war game, whether it be FPS or Strategy it normally is my go to genre of games. Secret forces are putting everything they can towards destabilization of entire countries, determined to set the world on fire once again and finally seize control”. In the midst of this chaos, a new threat appears that will put Europe’s very existence at risk. ![]() Farmers are uncovering the remains of the majestic walking machines that had fought on the battlefields of the Great War. Tradition clashes with scientific and technological progress, while Europe is still recovering from the brutal battles of the World War.Ĭities are being rebuilt and in the countryside, the era of the Iron Harvest has begun. The Game lets you control giant dieselpunk mechs, combining epic singleplayer and coop campaigns as well as skirmishes with intense action on the battlefield for multiplayer fans, Iron Harvest is the classic real-time strategy game fans have been waiting for. Iron Harvest is a real-time strategy game (RTS) set in the alternate reality of 1920+, just after the end of the Great War. ![]() It’s worth noting that while the Iron Harvest Complete Edition is currently available for PS5 and XSX | S will be available, but the studio continues to plan to prepare a digital edition of the game for PS4 and XOne, but the position will not be launched until 2022.“The Complete Edition includes the Rusviet Revolution and the Operation Eagle Add on, granting access to all new adventures in the alternative reality of 1920+.
